Admissions to Asian Institute of Fashion Design Bachelor's (Honors) program are announced before the beginning of each of the two terms starting in January and August of each year.
Eligibility:
Qualifications required for Bachelor's Programme:
Applicants should have minimum *higher* 2nd division in Higher Secondary School Certificate or equivalent from a recognized Institute/Board. Applicants having "A" levels or other foreign qualifications must provide an equivalence certificate issued by Intermediate Board Committee of Chairmen (IBCC). Students who meet Iqra University/AIFD and HEC criteria are eligible to apply for the program of their choice. Admissions are based purely on merit. Read more
Qualifications required for Masters Programme:
a) Applicants (Iqra University Graduates) should have 70% or equivalent CGPA, others 3.0 GPA or Equivalent Percentage from recognized universities / degree awarding institutions in the eligibility education for a minimum duration of 14-years of schooling. In case Institutions mention both division and CGPA on the Degree / Transcript must meet either of the two conditions.
b) The number of credit hours needed to be completed for the award of a degree will be according to the policies of the Higher Education Commission.

AIFD-IU Policies:
1. Admission Policy
- Admissions at AIFD, Iqra University in all programmes are offered through prescribed procedure on merit to every eligible student irrespective of nationality, gender, ethnic background, creed, socio-economic status, cast or community.
- All applicants seeking admission at AIFD, Iqra University are required to successfully and completely meet admission criteria for selected programme of studies.
- All applicants must appear in the AIFD entry test and be present for post-test placement interview to qualify.
- All admissions at AIFD remain provisional and are subject to verification of relevant academic and other documents/papers. Violations, embezzlement, forgery, cheating or misleading information will be sternly dealt with followed by immediate expulsion.
- Eligibility for a program will be determined after the applicant has met all the requirements within the governing rules as described by the competent authority at the AIFD.
- The Admission Committee also reserves the rights to accept or reject the admission on the basis of the announced vacancy under the rules chartered by the HEC Pakistan.

Scholarships
Free ships and merit scholarships: AIFD offers Free ships (100% off tuition fee) to all position holders of National Boards/Universities in the programs of their choice in the first term. Merit scholarships are awarded each term to the first 5 position holders on the basis of GPA earned with full term load. Merit rating is determined as per rules.
Gold Medal Criteria
The gold medal will be awarded to the student who secures the highest CGPA in a particular degree program with no "F" grade during the whole academic tenure.
The gold medal will be awarded to the student scoring a 3.5 CGPA or above, and having no disciplinary records.
If the student does not complete the degree within the prescribed time, he/she will not be eligible for the gold medal.
The gold medal will not be awarded to any transfer student of universities other than Iqra University whose transferred credit hours are more than 10%.
Iqra University, Clifton Campus (AIFD), reserves the right to any change in the gold medal criteria.
