It is indeed a pleasure to realize that AIFD has emerged as an independent school of Fashion and Textile at Iqra University. It has grown over the years in terms of student population, programs offered and multidimensional utility of learned skills. There is significant enhancement in the faculty expertise and knowledge imparted through text and teaching both at entry and tertiary level. What is more gratifying to cherish is the fact that students' work is more professional and can be compared and contrasted with any emerging global demand. The AIFD alumni have already made their presence felt through their unmatched craftsmanship and creativity at notable fashion and textile shows. I wish to congratulate the management, faculty and the student body on this auspicious occasion. I must say that AIFD has brought laurels to Iqra University and has augmented its core functions through developing graduates' link with the organizations and corporate sector as well. The institutional capacity building approach is commendable. I wish AIFD-Iqra University a prosperous and thriving future.
